The first quarter of 2021 has seen significant activity in the sandbox gaming category on Android in Latin America. Sensor Tower provides a detailed overview of how the top five sandbox games performed during this period.

Roblox saw a slight decline in revenue from $422K in the last week of December 2020 to $217K by the end of March 2021. However, downloads increased from 738K to 735K, and weekly active users showed a robust upward trend from 19.2M to over 23.4M.

Minecraft experienced a decrease in revenue, starting at $118K and ending the quarter at around $87K. The game's downloads showed a downward trend from 44K to 23K, but weekly active users increased from 873K to 1.2M.

Avakin Life - 3D Virtual World demonstrated a revenue decrease from $58K to $40K. Downloads saw a decline from 206K to 156K, but weekly active users surged from 1.1M to over 1.2M.

IMVU: Social Chat & Avatar app showed a relatively stable revenue, starting at $20K and ending at $20K, with a peak at $23K in late January. Downloads peaked at 91K in early March before settling at 60K, and weekly active users peaked at 550K before decreasing to 488K.

Lastly, Blockman Go saw a revenue increase from $17K to $9K. Downloads were volatile with a peak at 197K in late January, ending the quarter slightly lower at 147K. Weekly active users grew from 1.1M to 1.4M.
